Chocolate
Apple Cake
4 cups apples, peeled and sliced
2 cups sugar
1 cup oil
2 eggs
3 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 Tbs. cinnamon
½ tsp. salt
1 cup chocolate chips
Stir sugar into apples and let stand 15 min. Mix in oil and then eggs. Mix together dry ingredients (no need to sift) and stir into apple mixture. Add chocolate chips and mix. Mixture will be stiff.
Spoon into a greased 9x13 pan and bake for 45-55 minutes in a 350 oven.
Can be served warm or at room temperature.
