Walking along the streets of beautiful Cape May, have you ever wondered what it would be like to own a bed and breakfast? Are you the kind of person who could share your home with your guests? Does innkeeping involve a lot of work? Are you a good fit for the accommodation industry?
Members of Cape May Historic Accommodations, a local coalition of over 40 members comprising Bed & Breakfasts, Guesthouses, Suites, Apartments and Historic Hotels, were asked, “What do you love about innkeeping?” Here are their responses:
You cannot beat the commute.
Working where you live certainly has its advantages. Think of all the time wasted sitting in rush hour traffic. Innkeepers simply walk downstairs to begin their day.
